We present the JP Australia X-Winger Board.

Our completely new X-Winger boards are longer and narrower than their predecessors. They feature many new shape details that make them more maneuverable and agile and give them better overall handling. Most importantly, they are much more efficient and superior in all aspects of performance.

The longer, narrower hull and flat nose rocker provide better planing, faster acceleration and enable easier and earlier take-off with a smooth transition into flight mode. The clearly defined edges efficiently convert the lift generated by the underwater hull into 'lift', which further supports the take-off. These shape features work together to improve other characteristics: occasional touch-downs are smoother and the board bounces smoothly off the water surface without losing speed - much more efficiently and comfortably than its predecessor.

The outline in the nose area has been significantly narrowed to reduce the board's swing weight and improve aerodynamics. To compensate for the reduced volume, we have now made this area thicker. Nevertheless, the slim nose provides a lighter feel with a more agile ride.

The slightly concave standing surface ensures a very direct ride with control over the foil.

The tail area has been equipped with additional rocker. In flight, this additional bottom curve lifts the nose and leads to a better flying position of the board. This avoids unwanted contact with the water and pampers the rider with a more comfortable stance. In addition, the rocker generates more pop during jumps and ensures a higher air position.

This year, the X-Winger features new cut-outs: they reduce the volume and width of the tail, enabling a more efficient pumping motion to generate the necessary lift over the foil. In turns, the board can also be edged more strongly without the tail touching the water. For occasional touch-downs, the cut-outs help to keep the braking effect low and maintain speed.

Technical details:

The boards have very long boxes that provide a large tuning area for the foil. The boxes are embedded in PU blocks that extend from the deck to the underwater hull and this deck-to-bottom connection results in an extremely stable construction.
In addition, the boards are equipped with rigid PVC foam panels in the deck and hull and - together with the Innegra edge reinforcements - offer an unsurpassed ratio of stiffness and low weight.
