Genuine racing performance without the demanding handling challenges of a pure slalom sail – with 2 cambers and a narrower mast pocket, the V8 is significantly easier to rig, jibe, and launch than a pure racing sail. However, its ease of use should not obscure its enormous performance potential - the V8 is fully competitive on regatta courses and even offers better planing characteristics than some of the most advanced slalom sails. It is perfectly suited for use with both fins and Foil.
