The Point 7 Windsurf Quick Release Harness Lines is identical to the classic Point 7 Harness Lines, but offers a crucial additional function. 

A simple click mechanism allows you to release the line from the Boom at the touch of a button. This can give you a great sense of security. The classic situation – a heavy wipeout and you're lying under the sail, still "stuck" in the Harness Lines – can now be easily resolved. 

Since these situations are rarely truly dangerous, we only recommend these ropes to windsurfers who panic when they get stuck under the sail in the rope. So if you are familiar with this situation, you will find this an ingenious and unique solution. If this situation does not cause you any headaches, you can relax and choose the classic Point 7 Harness Lines. 

No disassembly of the boom is necessary to install the Harness Lines. These ropes are not adjustable and are therefore only suitable for windsurfers who know how long they would like their Harness Lines to be. 

Harness Lines should be replaced regularly. For frequent windsurfers, we recommend changing the ropes once a year. For occasional windsurfers, we recommend an annual check of the ropes and a change every two years. 

"Frequent windsurfing" means windsurfing at least once a week. That is, at least 52 sessions per year. 

"Occasional windsurfing" applies to less than once a week. That is, less than 52 sessions per year.
