The PPC Surge Wing - developed by Sam Loader and his team in New Zealand, is a balanced powerhouse. The name Surge = “a sudden powerful forward or upward movement” is no coincidence!

With its low profile and small leading edge tube diameter, the Surge is very stiff and offers plenty of power - a very fast one Wing with a lot of buoyancy. The drop down in the "center strut" gives it balanced and neutral flight characteristics - when "luffing" on the wave or during a maneuver, the Surge follows neutrally and requires little control.

A lot of attention was paid to the placement of the four handles - with their rigid setup, handling is a pleasure and finding the handles after a maneuver becomes second nature in no time.

If necessary, one can be installed at the center strut Harness Lines be attached - pig tails are available for this purpose.

The high-quality construction of Japanese Teijin canvas and German Polyant Dacron prevents the Surge from absorbing water and adding weight while you're on the water.
