We present the Sailloft Quad 2024.

Soft + Powerful = Quad

The 2024 Sailloft Quad represents a massive evolutionary step from its predecessor. It always seemed incompatible to soft-tune a powerful sail. But with the 2024 Quad we have succeeded in doing just that. This required countless prototypes and we had to dig deep into our bag of tricks to realize the requirement profile.

The changes in detail:

By changing the profile in the boom area, the quad is now completely flat without wind and thus offers a perfect on-off for maneuvers and wave riding. By including the mast pocket, the maximum profile depth is maintained. As soon as the sail is powered up, it delivers plenty of thrust, but with a very gentle onset. With this controlled acceleration, you can power into the next jump.

The highlight, however, is the completely newly developed luff curve. It ensures that every rider - whether light or heavy - can set their favorite trim. Every preference from flat to extra bulbous can be realized. The required loose leech is also generated automatically.

As usual with Sailloft, the development was carried out specifically for sail sizes. This means that each size is tailored to the specific wind range in which the sail is used. Depending on the requirements, the boom was shortened for better handling and / or the top was further flared for fine gradation of the loose leech.

The result is the best quad ever.
