Soft + Powerful = Quad

The 2025 Quad represents a massive evolutionary step forward from its predecessor. It always seemed impossible to combine a powerful sail with a soft feel. But with the 2025 Quad, we have achieved exactly that. It took countless prototypes and we had to dig deep into our bag of tricks to meet the requirements.

The changes in detail:

By changing the profile in the Boom area, the Quad now lies completely flat without wind, offering perfect on-off for maneuvers and wave riding. However, by incorporating the mast pocket, the maximum profile depth is maintained. As soon as the sail is filled with wind, it delivers plenty of thrust, which is very smooth. With this controlled acceleration, you can go full power into the next jump.

The highlight, however, is the completely newly developed luff curve. It ensures that every rider – whether light or heavy – can set their favorite trim. Every preference from flat to extra bulbous is possible. The required loose leech is automatically generated.

As is customary at Sailloft, the development was carried out specifically for each sail size. This means that each size is tailored to the specific wind range in which the sail is used. Depending on the requirements, the luff was shortened for better handling and/or the top was extended for fine adjustment of the loose leech.

The result is the best quad ever.
