The Windsurfer was the very first windsurf board, introduced in 1968, and—with over 400,000 units sold—became the largest boat class in sailing history. In 2018, Exocet modernized the design in collaboration with the International Windsurfer Class: a lightweight EPS core, a retractable centerboard, IWCA-approved for class racing, suitable for schools, and even usable as a SUP.
