Introducing the neoprene glasses strap.
Option A: as shown in the picture.
Option B: the MyWindsurfGadget print on the back is not centered, but printed off-center or even cropped. The function of variants A and B is identical.
Our specially produced glasses straps combine functionality and style. Although the latter is, of course, a minor detail. If you wear glasses—whether for sun protection or vision correction—then a glasses strap is almost a must on the water. Losing your glasses in an unfortunate fall can be very costly.
According to the WHO and the Department of Health, sunglasses should also be worn when the UV index is 3 or higher. That's why it's especially important to wear eye protection on the water. Anyone who has ever had their eyes blinded by the sun knows what we mean.
So, not wearing a glasses strap is only cool until you no longer have your glasses.
That's why we've added neoprene straps to our range – having them with you is an advantage for almost every windsurfer.
Simply insert the ends of your glasses arms into the flexible openings of the neoprene strap, and you're good to go.
The neoprene snugly fits around the temples of your glasses, preventing them from flying off the next time you fall.
All standard glasses and sunglasses are kept afloat by the strap should they fall into the water during a fall. The red/orange color on the outside helps in what will hopefully be a short search.
Our in-house production allows us to offer fair prices. A pack of three costs €9.95 – that's around €3.32 per strap. This puts us just below the price of an Ascan glasses strap (black neoprene) and well below the price of a new pair of glasses.
