Duotone FALCON_FIN D/LAB (MTO, no fin)

The FALCON_FIN D/LAB is DUOTONE’s D/LAB-class slalom race board for advanced and expert riders competing on a fin in PWA, IFCA, and club competitions. Based on championship-winning shapes and FULL CUSTOM D/LAB TECHNOLOGY, it ensures that you can focus entirely on speed and line—not on your gear. Beyond Imagination.

FULL CUSTOM D/LAB TECHNOLOGY starts with the core: Each EPS block is machined to its final shape using a CNC milling machine, rather than being produced in a molding process. This eliminates mold-related tolerances and results in measurable weight savings right from the start. With SINGLE PROCESS TECHNOLOGY, the upper and lower PVC layers are then vacuum-sealed in separate steps—this division ensures the optimal weight-to-stiffness ratio. The PVC thickness varies depending on the load zone, rather than being a uniform 3 mm throughout. The entire laminate structure comprises more than 60 individual parts—nearly 20% more than in the SLS construction—and is up to 500 g lighter than the SLS version, as well as up to a full kilogram lighter than a standard mass-produced board.

The material construction optimizes every gram: high-modulus and high-strength carbon fibers—the same high-modulus quality used in aerospace and Formula 1; Innegra for tensile strength and impact resistance; exclusive S-glass for approximately 10–20% more stiffness than standard glass; and DUOTONE SENTEX® resin with silicon nanospheres to reduce weight at the resin level.

In this generation, the fin box is positioned slightly further forward, which improves acceleration and upwind trim without compromising the board’s proven balance.

The FALCON_FIN D/LAB is available in eight sizes: 89, 98, 111, 118, 119, 124, 130, and 139 liters. New to this generation is the 130-liter version, which is derived from the “magical” 139-liter—the shape that ensures the board’s dominance in light winds and with large sails—and translates its DNA into a more manageable volume. The sizes from 119 to 139 give you the flexibility to get planing early and also use larger sails in light-wind races.
