This innovation is based on the targeted alignment of Technora fibers within the laminate of the sail panels, which follow the characteristic curved load pattern that originates from the corners of the sail.

Using the full capabilities of our advanced 3D design software, we have developed a highly efficient bi-radial panel layout. This modern approach ensures that the sail unfolds its full potential at all times, perfectly combining responsiveness and power.

To further improve the performance of the Matrix-ME, we have developed a continuous panel layout in which the Technora fibers run uninterrupted along the entire load path. The result is a sail with extremely efficient load distribution that allows the use of a thinner film without compromising robustness, while also being significantly lighter.
