Five battens maximum range, high-end control wave sail. Extra control and range in a wide range of conditions: The brand new Banzai Max Pro is our 5-batten wave sail. 5 battens provide more stability and higher top speeds.
Handling:
The lift is positioned slightly higher and centered compared to the Banzai 11 Pro and Banzai Surf Pro, which promotes a more upright but neutral ride feel. This provides great drive and power in the lower speed range, but also excellent control in the upper speed range.

X Pro construction:
Main window panel: 6 mm X-Ply film with a black ultra-PE fiber that provides high modulus tensile strength and high tensile tear strength. The fiber configuration allows for maximum fiber performance while blending into the background. Black yarns have extremely low reflectivity, which means they absorb all the light and disappear when you look through the sail for the best possible, uninterrupted view through the sail's window.
Top window panels: 5 mm Dimension-Polyant polyester X-PLY models are designed for reduced stretch and increased tear strength
Top Color Panels: 2.5 mm scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester scrim plus foot/tack panel: 4 mm Aramid Scrim features an improved scrim with larger denier fibers while maintaining the high-strength Aramid X-PLY. It has a much higher tear and puncture resistance under the highest load of pure wave riding.
Carbon -stretch control tapes are made from bundles of pre-tensioned carbon fibers to ensure low stretch and no crimp. Improved PSA adhesive allows for aggressive tackiness. Using these tapes allows for easier and more efficient reinforcement of patches and sails.
