In racing, development never stops. New foils, new sails and the ever-increasing level of riders demand constant updates. The PWA rules only allow one foil board in the rider's repairer. Our shaper Werner Gnigler has therefore worked on the core sizes and presents three new shapes in our five-board line: the 80, 85 and 88. The main focus was on efficiency, minimizing resistance and control in the air. To achieve this, the scoop at the nose has been reduced, the edges have been made slimmer and the deck is now slightly cambered to optimize the airflow over the front of the board. The shape in the stance area has undergone the most radical change and has become flatter. The large pads now extend a little further out than the edges and provide stronger and more consistent leverage on the foil. All in all, this leads to better control at higher speeds.
