We present the NeilPryde V8 2024.
TWIN CAM FREERIDE
Real race performance without the high driving challenges of a pure slalom sail - with 2 cambers and a narrower mast pocket, the Neilpryde V8 is much easier to rig, jibe and launch than a pure racing sail. However, the ease of handling cannot hide the enormous performance potential - the V8 is fully competitive on regatta courses and even offers better planing characteristics than some of the most advanced slalom sails. It is perfectly suited for use with both fin and foil.

Sail properties
Our fastest freeride sail |
Taking concepts from the RS:Racing line of sails, the V8 is the fastest sail you will find that is not a fully race-ready machine. |
User friendliness | Lightweight, stable profile and easier to rig than a pure racing sail. Top speed and acceleration are close to those of the RS:Racing, but rigging, tacking and launching in the water will be easier due to the twin-cam system, slightly reduced downhaul tension and narrower mast pocket. |
Fin or foil |
Equally at home on foil or fin, the V8 will allow you to get the most out of every session, no matter where you are. |
7 slat layout | Ultimate control and stability are guaranteed by the 7-batten layout. |
Twin Cam | 2 Mini-Cams offer the simplest possible rigging of a cambered sail and still offer the advantages of a closed front profile. |
