We present the Patrik F-Cross Board 2022.
Call it as you like "Freemove", "Freestyle-Wave", "Bump & Jump", etc, important to know is that this is the most versatile shape in our range. To cruise along, carve some old-school maneuvers, ride some waves, pop some new-school freestyle tricks, pop some sick jumps or match-race your mate, and more is all this board can offer in a very high levelled way while only choosing the right fin style and strap setup.
Optical aspect & footpad:
With the new graphic aspect influenced by Italian designer Fabio Canella we are taking a new direction and be more colored while still keeping it simple.
The 6mm thick over-dotted diamond groove grip pad has an extra 6mm soft sponge under-layer which makes it total 12mm and very nice and comfortable.
Shape Info "short":
From a straight line in the planning area on the biggest size the rocker in the tail area increases the smaller the board. The idea behind is to target more planning and acceleration performance on the big board and change to more manoeuvrability the smaller the size. All boards have a double concaved V with stabilizing side flats from nose to the front strap to absorb the chop and give it a comfortable ride and then blend into a flat panel V all the way to the tail for all-round cruising stability and easy rail to rail transitions in manoeuvres.
Shape Info "Detailed":
Scoop-Rocker:
Straight flat on the big size for best planning and acceleration performance in the light wind and constant increasing rocker the smaller the board for more maneuvrability and wave-oriented range of use.
Volume distribution:
On the big board the back-foot height is almost even with the front foot for early planning and straight-line performance. The smaller the board the slight thinner tail with lower back foot for more wave-oriented use.
Outline:
A harmonic curve all the way through the length with a rounded off tail for the extra tight carving ability.
Bottom Shape:
Double concaved V with stabilizing side flats from nose to the front strap to absorb the chop and give it a comfortable ride and then blend into a flat panel V all the way to the tail for all-round cruising stability and easy rail to rail transitions in manoeuvres.
Rails / Tuck:
A bit thicker and boxier on the bigger board for rail floatation and non-planning stability and slight thinner and rounder on the smaller sizes for more carving and grip in the turns.
Deck Shape:
At the tail strap it is designed to have enough dome and curve to have a comfortable stance when using the center or the double straps. As well the front has the right curve to use more centered as well as more to the rail positioned straps
Fin
There is a Powerbox on all 4 sizes. The f-cross comes equipped with a PATRIK fin.
Inserts:
More centered insert plugs for 3x strap setup and more to the rail positioned inserts for 4x strap setup. Each insert has 4-positions for individual settings.
CONSTRUCTION
The topic where opinions split radically but after all the proof is the choice of the pro riders and this is what we want to offer you and nothing less.
Our full deck Carbon Kevlar is lightness and impact strong whereas the Biax fiber on the bottom is giving the extra flex you want for the turns and landings.
