Description

Introducing the Patrik TS-WAVE board.

RIDE VERTICALLY ON ANY MEDIUM-SIZED AND HOLLOW WAVE.

OVERVIEW

Newschool tri-fin concept with three equal-sized S-Wave fins for a real surfing-like feel on the wave. Better glide compared to the QTS thanks to a lower entry rocker and more surface area in the nose. Perfect for small to medium waves and hollow beach breaks that want to be ridden vertically.
More skate-like than the QTS, but with plenty of grip for carved top turns. More nervous in longer turns than the QTS, but with better upwind performance. Its agility on unpredictable waves makes this board the perfect onshore and all-round travel companion. Loose and super fast with the ability to move very freely on the wave and easily change the radius of your turn. Excellent board speed and amazing lift for big jumps. Well balanced and smooth in choppy water.

DETAILS

Shape:
Vee in single concave to pronounced double concave to tail kick vee.
Forward-facing wide point with relatively narrow squash tail.

Pads and inserts:
Double inserts at the rear foot for more stability with 4-bolt mounting, a twist-proof backstrap and the option of riding the backstrap asymmetrically with traditional 2-bolt mounting. 6 mm thick diamond-grooved footpad with an additional 6 mm thick underlayer of soft material, for a total of 12 mm. It is very comfortable and distributes the load of the foot well across the deck construction.

Fins and boxes:
Factory Fins setup: Tri Fin (3 equal-sized S-Wave fins)
Alternative setups: Thruster (more rail-to-rail stability), Twinzer (looser, more skatey), Single Fin (best glide, best upwind performance, less radical)
Spread the Fins for more grip and hold in bigger waves. Bring the Fins together in smaller waves for a driving, agile, and skate-like feel.
Center fin box: US
Side fin boxes: SLOT
