We present the PPC Blend Wing.
The PPC Blend Wing - the second wing developed by Sam Loader and his team in New Zealand - is no surprise!
Like its proven, high-performance brother Surge , the new Blend also offers a concentrated load of power and balance. The Blend is even lighter than the Surge and has a softer and less aggressive feel. Its power delivery is smoother with a more "pulling" drive.
With its lower weight and smaller wing span, the well-balanced Blend Wing is also suitable for lighter and less powerful riders. Although it is a great freerider, it excels in downwind and wave conditions.
The center tube is still tilted down a little to give us the well-balanced and neutral flying characteristics we have become accustomed to with the Surge . Rocking the light blend during maneuvers or in waves is a breeze.
Care has also been taken with the placement of the handles to ensure that they are as easy and natural to use as we are used to from Surge - with the addition of pig tails, the lines of the harness can also be attached to the center strut.
The Blend has the same proven, high-quality construction with Japanese Teijin cloth and German Polyant Dacron as the Surge - say no to water absorption and weight gain when you're on the water.
