We present the PPC Blend Wing.
The PPC Blend Wing—the second wing developed by Sam Loader and his team in New Zealand—comes as no surprise!
Like its proven, powerful sibling, the Surge, the new Blend also delivers a concentrated burst of power and balance. The Blend is even lighter than the Surge and feels softer and less aggressive. Its power delivery is smoother with a more "pulling" drive.
With its lower weight and smaller wing span, the well-balanced Blend Wing is also suitable for lighter and less powerful riders. Although it is a great freerider, it excels in downwind and wave conditions.
The center tube is still tilted down slightly to give us the well-balanced and neutral flight characteristics we have come to expect from the Surge. Rocking the lightweight Blend during maneuvers or in waves is a breeze.
Care has also been taken in the placement of the handles to ensure that they are as easy and natural to handle as we are used to with the Surge – with the addition of pig tails, the harness lines can also be attached to the center strut.
The Blend has the same proven, high-quality construction with Japanese Teijin fabric and German Polyant Dacron as the Surge – say no to water absorption and weight gain when you're on the water.
