We present the PPC 1-degree mast shim plate.
PPC Foiling has developed an easy-to-use shim plate that sits between the base of the foil mast and your board.
Have you ever had that annoying pressure on the front or rear foot when riding? Maybe you have changed the brand of foil or the board, maybe you have noticed a change in the setting.
This is a simple and cost effective solution to improve the overall performance and feel of your foil + board set up.
With each 1-degree shim you adjust the angle between the foil and the board - the pressure on the front or rear foot is reduced or even eliminated - depending on whether the board is installed from the front or rear.
PCC team rider Josh Armit uses 2 shims for a total of 2 degrees of adjustment when wing foiling at higher speeds (30+ kts)
"The ppc board shim allows you to ride at higher speeds with more pressure on the front foot, which means you have more control at speed. The ppc board shim also means that the board has a better angle to the water and when you land at higher speeds you are not slowed down too much by the water - the board comes loose more easily and you are back on the foil quickly.
