With the 2024, the Sailloft Air is now entering its sixth generation. Our team riders have clearly outlined the requirements profile for the properties of a perfect freestyle sail:
Plane, acceleration, speed, duckability and control. And that's exactly what the Air gives you.
It lets you glide as if pulled by magic. With maximum acceleration you reach top speed. So you start your first move at full speed.
Ducking the AIR is effortless. The playful control of the crouched sail guides you into your first move with full control.
Explosive lift catapults you into the air and gives you enough time for the most complex moves. Double moves are no problem. Thanks to the short reaction time, the Air also accelerates you into the third move. There are no longer any limits to your creative style.
Despite the weight optimization, we also made sure that the new model was stable enough for the shaft. The optimized vertical profiling is effectively supported by the revised batten set-up. You always have a perfectly balanced sail across the full wind range. Even when powered, the AIR delivers maximum performance for high-wind freestyle.
