Modern construction identical to the structure of an epoxy surfboard: a super-light EPS foam core is surrounded by an epoxy laminate. The result: an extremely light skimboard. A plus point is the significantly higher buoyancy compared to boards without a foam core. With this technology under your feet, real skimboarding is just beginning. You slide at least three times as far with the same amount of momentum as with conventional wooden boards. This is also how you get your first waves. Skimboarding at this level is just as fascinating as surfing. The only difference is that skimboarding is also fun when there are no waves.
Note: For technical reasons, minor irregularities in the finish of these epoxy skimboards with hand-crafted wooden inserts are normal, but they do not affect the function in any way.
