The Skywatch series are the most convenient anemometers in the Skywatch Anemometer Series from JDC. The anemometer can measure the wind up to wind force 12 (storm), with an accuracy of 3%. You can set the unit in which you want to read the wind yourself: km / h, mph, fps, knots and Beaufort. You can also see the average and maximum wind speed so that you are always guaranteed to choose the right kite size for you. The special feature of the Skywatch Atmos anemometer is that it is waterproof, floats and the measuring system is direction-independent. This means that you don't have to hold the Atmos anemometer straight into the wind to get an accurate measurement.
You can also use the Skywatch Atmos anemometer to measure other things such as temperature, wind chill and humidity. The Atmos anemometer works on two AA batteries and lasts for more than 3 years if the backlight is not used. There is a screw thread on the bottom of the Skywatch Atmos anemometer that allows you to attach the Atmos anemometer to a tripod for long-term measurement of wind, temperature and humidity. So you always have your own mobile weather station with you!
