Through years of working with epoxy surfboards, developing and testing pre-preg materials, we have developed the world's first EPS / epoxy pre-preg surfboard. This is a significant advance in surfboard technology.
The term pre-preg describes a material in which the resin is mechanically pre-impregnated under control. Pre-preg composites are cured under heat and high pressure. The baking ensures a much stronger curing of the resin.
The effects on surfboards are numerous - more accuracy, less waste, perfect reproduction - but the biggest advantage lies in the performance of the main factors to each other: flex and strength to weight.
