2x 1M rope of your choice
Special features: The highest quality trim system on the windsurfing market.
This set contains high-quality components for your trim system.
ClamCleat® clamps that are permanently installed on the boom.
Marlow® Formuline Dyneema rope, which holds your sail at the end of the boom and is constantly moved in the clamps of your boom. By using this rope, you are protected against wear and tear for many years. If you need less than three meters, you can also use the rope for your luff trim.
You can choose your "pull rope" from the following ropes. The thicker the rope, the easier it is to grip but also the less good the gliding properties:
- Marlow® Formuline Dyneema 3.8mm
- GLEISTEIN MegaTwin Dyneema 5mm (our recommendation)
Highest strength, lowest elongation, long service life: the all-rounder at the highest level
Construction
- 12-plait core made from Dyneema® SK78 fibers
- Intermediate cover made of polyester staple fiber
- Cover 24- or 32-plait braided from high-strength polyester
- Gleistein marking yarn orange
Worth knowing
- Wire rope-like strength and elongation
- Abrasion-resistant cover, suitable for stoppers
- Very stable rope cross-section
- Dyneema® SK78 shows inelastic elongation (creep) under permanent load. Readjustment may be necessary as a result.
- Dyneema® ropes can be stripped because Dyneema® SK78 has very good UV resistance
