The main tube is made of hardened T6 aluminum, while the nylon base is fiber-reinforced. The connection between the two parts is additionally reinforced by a stainless steel insert.
The base has a 3-roller pulley, which significantly reduces the effort for the user when trimming larger sails.
The alignment of the roller/clamp system makes rigging easier and is intuitive.
