At the beginning of July, Christopher and Mario got down to business. The PWA held its second event on the island of Brac in Croatia and we were there.

Mario, who had already spent the winter preparing for the competition season, traveled south a week before the competition. The car ride was unfortunately a bit too intense, so he was completely out of action for the time being. Shortly thereafter followed Christopher, who wanted to document the event and of course came himself for the epic conditions!

Christopher, who is responsible for the finances, the logistics and other planning-intensive processes in our company, quickly ordered his brother to pack the packages and then it was time to board the plane.

Two days later, the event began. Mario, who could hardly run longer distances due to dizziness, was eager to try it and was lucky. As soon as he came into contact with the cool water, his blood pressure rose and he was able to run all the races. Even if under suboptimal conditions.

The Future Fly boards & Avanti sails showed their best side with their extremely easy handling, Mario gave everything to compete against the PWA riders and so the week flew by.

After 10 eliminations in the Slalom & Foil Slalom Mario rode himself to a solid 26th place and was able to surf a respectable result despite illness. Of course, the top riders of the PWA were still a few mast lengths ahead of him, but that will surely become with experience!

Christopher also filmed two VLogs for Mario's YouTube channel during the event (Mario is currently editing them), which will be published in the coming days.

As a surf store, we are of course happy to receive our expert knowledge directly from the field. Mario & Christopher are again fully available for e-mail consultations and look forward to your messages. By the way, we are also happy to help with smaller issues such as trim systems, harnesses, harness lines etc.

So feel free to log on willkommen@windlounge.de or simply use the form on our website. We are looking forward to hear from you and to help you!

Many greetings,

your Wind Lounge team
