We at the PWA in Croatia.

The beginning of July was a busy time for Christopher and Mario. The PWA held its second event on the island of Brac in Croatia and we were there.

Mario, who had already spent the winter preparing for the competition season, traveled south a week before the competition. Unfortunately, the car journey was a little too intense, so he was completely out of action for the time being. He was followed shortly afterwards by Christopher, who wanted to document the event and of course came himself for the epic conditions!

Christopher, who is responsible for our finances, logistics and other planning-intensive processes, quickly ordered his brother to pack the parcels and then we boarded the plane.

Two days later, the event began. Mario, who could hardly run longer distances due to dizziness, was determined to give it a go and was lucky. As soon as he came into contact with the cool water, his blood pressure rose and he was able to take part in all the races. Albeit under suboptimal conditions.

The Future Fly boards & Avanti sails showed their best side with their extremely light handling, Mario gave everything to be able to compete with the PWA riders and so the week flew by.

After 10 eliminations in the Slalom & Foil Slalom, Mario finished in a solid 26th place and was able to achieve a remarkable result despite his illness. Of course, the top riders of the PWA were still a few mast lengths ahead of him, but that will certainly improve with experience!

Christopher also filmed two VLogs during the event for Mario's YouTube channel (Mario is currently editing them), which will be published in the coming days.

As a surf store, we are of course happy to receive our expert knowledge directly from the field. Mario & Christopher are again fully available for e-mail consultations and look forward to your messages. By the way, we are also happy to help with smaller issues such as trim systems, harnesses, harness lines etc.

So feel free to register willkommen@windlounge.de or simply use the form on our website. We look forward to hearing from you and being able to help!

Best regards,

your Wind Lounge team
