Introducing the JP Australia Freestyle Wave PRO 2025.

A L L – I N – O N E

The search for versatility ends right here! These JP boards have always been the true classics in the freestyle wave class because they are super balanced and incredibly fun in the widest possible range of water and wind conditions. The current generation of these all-round boards is no exception, offering a compact feel and quick reactions in maneuvers. In addition, the boards not only ride faster, but also feel more comfortable than their predecessors. They combine the essential characteristics that almost every windsurfer is looking for and truly meet all the requirements of an all-in-one board!

Werner Gnigler on his best line of all-round boards: "The proportions of width, length, and volume have proven themselves and are crucially responsible for the easy handling and perfect balance between all disciplines... and the curve in the underwater hull makes it special."

Shape details:

The slim outline in the bow area conveys a feeling of lightness. The centered swing weight reinforces the compact feel and improves maneuverability. In the middle section, the outline is parallel, creating a large surface area for early planing and stability. Just wide enough for good planing, the narrow tail increases control when riding fast over choppy water and, together with the narrow edges, it bites into carves and small waves without getting stuck.

The deck shape creates a comfortable position for all footstrap positions and ensures perfect control and excellent responsiveness. The thruster fin box setup, combined with the centered footstrap option, allows for maximum maneuverability. Alternatively, the outer footstrap option is best suited to a single fin setup and is the best freeride solution.

Important shape details:

The front part of the board has a significant V in combination with double concaves, which make riding super comfortable and effortless. Starting between the footstraps and towards the tail, the V is less pronounced, resulting in more rocker along the edge and allowing the edges to taper off. These are responsible for the excellent maneuverability and grip in turns and further improve the wave characteristics of these boards. The rocker has been reduced along the center, which not only increases performance in full throttle mode (or "when speeding") but also results in a more comfortable position due to the free and at the same time stable water position.

The 124 L version is proportionally slightly longer with a slightly wider tail to meet the needs of the target group in light winds. A perfectly balanced board with a wide range of uses and, moreover, the most versatile and maneuverable JP board in this volume range. A real crowd favorite!

The boards are made in JP's lighter and extremely robust Carbon Innegra technology.

All Freestyle Waves have a thruster setup: the standard powerbox and two side slot boxes with covers in case the side fins are not used. The main fin is made of G10 and the side fins are made of carbon.

It has already been said and must be emphasized again: the Freestyle Wave concept is the ideal option for 99% of recreational windsurfers on the coast. The Freestyle Wave offers so many tuning options that it can be perfectly adjusted for every day, regardless of the conditions. As a strong wind windboard, it is ideal for speed and bump & jump action. It also excels as a powerful all-round waveboard for lighter winds, heavier surfers, or difficult conditions, and is particularly fun for big jumps and fast carves in side-to-side onshore conditions.

Uncomplicated freeriding in medium to strong winds, bump & jump blasts, classic freestyle, high-speed carving, wave riding... the Freestyle Wave can do it all. Regardless of the conditions, you'll simply have the best time on the water!

TEAMRIDER NOTES:

Robby Swift: "I use these boards every year during photo shoots and am always surprised at how early they plane and how quickly they reach top speeds. The boards feel similar to the Magic Wave, which I know well and love, with better straight-line stability, earlier planing, and higher top speed. Ideal for bump and jump when the waves aren't particularly powerful, and great for flat water and freestyle maneuvers. They jump so high and make even the most mediocre conditions fun."

Werner Gnigler: "The development process for this generation took four years, and during that time I went through several generations of prototypes until I finally found the magic formula. When I tested the latest versions in Tenerife, I immediately sensed that this concept was outstanding: the riding feel and performance at both ends of the spectrum, wave and freeride, were impressive. There was no question about putting these shapes into production!"

Sven Feuer: "Fast, agile, free: this edition of the Freestyle Wave accelerates faster, reaches high top speeds, and responds with great agility in every type of maneuver. I recommend this board to anyone looking for a powerful yet controllable board. In every respect, this board is a great improvement over the previous version."
