Not a classic mast base, but firstly a real eye-catcher and secondly a guarantee for performance. Windsurfing mast feet are not an easy topic, especially in competitive sports. The pressure point should be as close to the board as possible, which means that the pin should be as short as possible. At the same time, both flexibility and rigidity are required in Tendon Joint - but in the right balance. Because if a mast base is too soft, this leads to suboptimal power transfer from the rig to the sail - especially at the limits.
The Point-7 windsurf mast base meets all these requirements and is used by professionals in the PWA. When it comes to mast bases, this is a clear signal of quality and performance.
We therefore recommend the Point-7 Base to all customers who value optimum power transmission. The base is used for advanced freerace, slalom, foil, wave and freestyle. It is also suitable for beginners, but cheaper alternatives from e.g. Unifiber can be used here.
