The Essentials Baseplate forms the foundation of our Baseplate range. Simple and reliable, it keeps the number of parts to a minimum, reducing the likelihood of failure even under extreme conditions.

A high-quality TPU tendon is anchored in the core by two large-diameter bolts designed for easy replacement of the tendon without overtightening.

The U-pin area at the top is a single solid piece of stainless steel, which ensures long-lasting durability.

Made from robust POK engineering plastic, the baseplate is ergonomic and can be easily unscrewed even after intensive sessions. The windshield, also made of POK material, has an EVA layer and a guide button for excellent grip on the board.

For additional safety, both the upper and lower parts of the baseplate are connected with a Spectra safety rope that can withstand a breaking load of up to 650 kg.

We believe that the majority of windsurfers would agree - a strong and safe baseplate is a good baseplate. Everything else is secondary
