The Essentials Baseplate forms the foundation of our baseplate range. Simple and reliable, it keeps the number of parts to a minimum, reducing the likelihood of failure even under extreme conditions.

At its core, a high-quality TPU tendon is anchored by two large-diameter bolts designed for easy replacement of the tendon without over-tightening.

The U-pin area at the top is a single solid piece of stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting durability.

Made from robust POK engineering plastic, the baseplate is ergonomic and easy to unscrew even after intense sessions. The disc, also made from POK material, features an EVA layer and a guide knob for excellent grip on the board.

For added safety, both the upper and lower parts of the baseplate are connected with a Spectra safety rope that can withstand up to 650 kg of breaking load.

We believe that the majority of windsurfers would agree—a strong and secure baseplate is a good baseplate. Everything else is secondary.
