The Tendon Joint HD is a high-quality performance mast foot that optimizes the power transmission from the sail to the board. Thanks to the durable Tendon Joint, lateral stretching of the mast foot is minimized, making it easy to get the board flying even with larger sails. The feel is more direct than with the Power Joint or Boge Joint mast foot from Unifiber.
We recommend this mast base to all performance-oriented windsurfers who value finesse. It is important to understand that the transfer of power from the sail to the board is an elementary component in questions of "control".
We therefore also recommend replacing the mast base once a year if it is used frequently in order to minimize risks and losses during power transmission.
