The Essentials Cardan Baseplate combines the Unifiber tendon joint core with a mechanically hinged top.

Thanks to the universal joint, attaching the sail - whether on the beach or on the water - is very easy without having to turn the board over or bend the chord manually.

The core is built around a high quality TPU string and anchored with two large diameter custom bolts so that the string can be easily replaced without damaging the bolts.

The U-pin section is made of solid stainless steel to ensure a long service life.

The base plate made of robust POK plastic is ergonomically shaped and can be easily unscrewed - even after intensive training sessions. The POK disk is equipped with an EVA layer and a guide knob, providing excellent grip on the board.

Additional safety is provided by a Spectra safety rope, which connects both the upper and lower parts of the baseplate and can withstand a breaking load of up to 650 kg.
