Introducing the Unifiber Tendon Joint Raceboard UNI mast base.
The Tendon Joint Raceboard Essentials UNI (U-Pin) has been designed to be compatible with Exocet RS 380 boards and most raceboards from other brands.
Simple and reliable: the Tendon Joint sits extremely low, which ensures a more direct connection between the rig and the board. At its core is a high-quality TPU tendon, which is secured with two large special screws. This makes it very easy to replace the tendon without over-tightening the screws.
The U-pin at the top is made from a single piece of solid stainless steel, making it extremely robust. Nevertheless, the Raceboard Tendon Joint is lightweight, weighing approximately 50 g less than many other products.
A high-quality nylon pad is included to ensure that the joint runs smoothly on the mast track.
And for extra safety, the upper and lower parts of the joint are connected with a Spectra safety rope – which can withstand up to 650 kg of tensile force.
