F-One Strike CWC Wing

F-ONE launches another groundbreaking design, the STRIKE CWC, offering unique features in light wind conditions.

Almost two years after the release of our first Wing, we have found the ultimate way to give the Wing more surface area without compromising on lightness and performance. The new patented Compact Wing Concept makes it possible to create more surface area with the same wingspan. We have added 2 struts to the existing ones that keep the Wing very compact even in the large sizes.

It was a difficult process to control the twist of the 2 struts and therefore the power and performance of this new wing. The high performance design we had in the rest of the STRIKE range and the incredible cloth tension were a necessary basis to start such an ambitious design program.

The two additional struts increase the area of the wing without increasing the length and diameter of the leading edge. After we were able to fit a 6 m wing into a short 5 m leading edge, we were able to build a 7 m and 8 m wing using the same concept.

The consistent length of the leading edge offers significant advantages in terms of stiffness.

Since the contact with the water while driving, is one of the biggest problems, we have also worked on the profile of the wing ends. They stay away from the water surface all by themselves. If they do hit the water, they glide over it and don't brake like they would otherwise. So you can ride with your hands at normal height and not with your arms above your head.

This new geometry brings a lot of power with easy handling and thus a super light feeling with a smaller wingspan. The glider is more maneuverable and easier to turn around on the water. Pumping up is super easy and gets you foiling in no time because the tips don't touch the water. This unique compactness makes for a very comfortable ride with large wing sizes.
