This is the sail for the youngsters who wants to have the same qualities in their sail as the adults. A proper crossover for going both waves sailing or freestyling. A mix of characteristics derived from the Salt pro wave and Slash freestyle

Its Character:

With this sail you can wave ride, freestyle, slalom sail and even foil. You can do it all. The foot is cut high for allowing the most radical maneuvers. The frontal Dacron releases stability for cruising, but at the same time supplies a great pop for freestyling and wave riding drive. A pure mix that allows trying out all the best disciplines windsurfing has to offer, so that you can develop all skills, to then specialize in what you like best!

On the water:

Light, balanced and easy. The dacron gives stability to the sail, and allows a great drive and pop for both freestyle and wave sailing needs. The base is midway from a wave and freestyle sail allowing all the moves without being in the way. The slightly longer boom, guarantees the power to blast at any speed. The long boom is not that long and as it is a small sail, it still remains very manoeuvrable.

2. 5mil central transparent monofilm visibility window
3. 4mil Anti UV X-ply laminate for high reactivity
4. X-ply alternate batten pockets for lighter weight and reflex
5. Dacron luff panel for extra drive and profile

Target Development:

The sail has been developed to give young riders under the age of 15 a dedicated sail which would allow them to either freestyle, wave sail or freeride. All ingredients have been added smartly to achieve advantages in all disciplines. Probably the more versatile sail in the Point-7 range.

Rigging:

The S!ick is straightforward to rig, requiring little force to counter its luff curve to set the rotation of the profile according to each different disciplines needs. Playing with the outhaul will boost power or increase control but do give good outhaul tension. Tighten the bottom and top batten, but just remove wrinkles on the other battens, without over tensioning them. For freeriding pull the sail 2cm more than freestyling or wave sailing.
